EPOC Class Description

EPOC is the acronym for "Excess Post-exercise Oxygen Consumption." In other words, it is the afterburn. It explains how your body can continue to burn calories for a while after you've finished your workout. The EPOC program is made up of vigorous, anaerobic exercises such as heavy lifts, short sprints, and bursts of exercise followed by short periods of rest. It is similar to the HIIT exercise program, but the level of exercise intensity plays a role in how many calories your body burns post- workout. This program is taught by different Fusion coaches that push you, help out when you are unsure of an exercise, and encourage you!
